Who are the 'founding fathers'?

Andrew Shearman

Andrew was born near London UK and has been married to Mo for 42 years. They have one son and two daughters and five grandchildren.

He is a fourth generation preacher with experience in ministry going back more than 40 years. Working out of their local church in Nottingham UK, this included children and youth leadership, pastoral duties and church planting in Europe with teams of young people, leading an evangelistic team (International Outreach), working with many churches in city wide outreaches, often using the team's 3000 seat tent.

The thrust of Andrew’s life and ministry is to raise up passionate, hope-filled, non-religious warriors to see a Glorious Church and a Global Harvest. As a prisoner of hope, Andrew is committed to Tabernacle of David and Feast of Tabernacles! He and his friends are committed to government in the Kingdom by servant apostles and prophets, networking with others of the same heart and values.

The Kingdom comes! And the Dream (God's) is alive!

Gary Black

Gary D. Black currently works with G42 and Adventures in Missions / The World Race.

In 2007 Gary moved with his wife, Lisa-Marie and their six kids to Swaziland, Southern Africa. He started the G42 ministries in Nsoko, Swaziland, planted the first G42 Church and had a radio ministry reaching to three nations. In 2008 Gary and his family were forced to leave Swaziland due to visa issues, but will continue to minister in Swazi and the rest of the World.

He is an ordained pastor, since 1995, and former president of Rock The Nations (RTN), an international youth ministry.

Seth Barnes

Founder and Ex. Director of Adventures In Missions.

Married to Karen.

Father of five wonderful children.

Testimony:  It was only after completing business school and continuing on in ministry that I discovered what had been missing from my walk with the Lord all my life. It was intimacy. While I’d always heard about having a personal relationship with Christ, I never understood that it’s possible to hear His voice. I was at a retreat where Peter Lord spoke. And not only did I hear God speak to me in a very personal way, but I discovered for the first time what a personal relationship with God can be.

Since then, I began to earnestly seek the Lord. Prayer became much more important to me. Evangelism became a passion. And now, late in life, I’m discovering experientially what it means to disciple others as I’ve discipled my own teenagers.

I’m a work in process. I’ve found that the main thing one needs in a relationship with God is hunger to know Him and be in His presence.

As for the rest of my life, Karen and I are going through a transition as three of our five children are leaving the nest, leaving us with our two youngest, two dogs & a cat. One of our great consolations is the wonderful group of friends at AIM. They are truly the body of Christ to us. Life here is always an adventure and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Tom Davis
